I mention separately the movie promotion we did for the Bengal Merchant, but we have come up twith a few other ideas for them too.
CURRY IN THE COMMUNITY
Knowing a lot of people living in Middleton-In-Teesdale or further still up Teesdale have a long round trip to get a takeaway, we suggested a once a week (Sunday) drop off in Middleton, for those that order by the deadline.
We called it “Curry in the Community”. Three years later it is still going strong.
SIT DOWN MEALS AT TAKEAWAY PRICES
People are the most reluctant to go out in the February dark nights with biting cold weather, especially after an expensive Christmas. So we devised this promotion where people could come in from the cold and have their takeaway in the cosy warm restaurant. Run in conjunction with the Teesdale Mercury it has been successful for three years.
THE BENGAL MERCHANT WEBSITE
Knowing the lads at the Bengal as well as I now do I thought it best that I did their new website myself. They were very trusting and left me to it, not seeing a single part until it was complete.
I made it clean cut, upmarket, colourful and fun – a reflection of the restaurant itself.
We refreshed the logo years ago. All the photography and filming was done by us along with editing & design.
